Now in its 17th year, Greenprints is the premier convening of national thought leaders in sustainable design, construction and communities. On March 12 and 13, 2014 over 300 of these leaders will meet to explore issues related to green building, sustainable development and policy in the Southeast.
NEW! 2014 Conference Format
Day one focuses on innovative solutions for a sustainably built region. Conference presentations will be taken to the next level with interactive sessions designed to deepen attendee knowledge in the context of real world application.
Day two will begin with in-depth workshops on-site at award-winning projects such as Ponce City Market to highlight applied green building technologies and sustainable design principles. Attendees will return to GTRI in the afternoon for lunch, keynote by Jason McLennan and Living Building Challenge charette.

McLennan’s work has made a pivotal impact on the shape and direction of green building in the United States and Canada and he is a much sought after presenter and consultant on a wide variety of green building and sustainability topics around the world. McLennan serves as the CEO of the International Living Future Institute – a leading NGO that focuses on the transformation to a world that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative.

The Institute for Market Transformation, is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, that promotes energy efficiency in buildings. Majersik is a pioneer of energy efficiency concepts that have gained national prominence. His work on mortgage finance policy led to the introduction of federal legislation in 2011, and he helped craft the groundbreaking building energy benchmarking and disclosure laws in the District of Columbia and New York City.
